Musical Skills/Knowledge:

I have been in the school band ever since fourth grade so I'm pretty sicknasty at oboe. But that doesn't matter seeing as I hate it. My uncles and friends' dads all play in bands, so growing up I have learned some stuff, but in sixth grade I got an acoustic and started taking lessons. Not for long though. After my teacher showed me a "G string" then asked me if I wore one, he kinda sorta got fired. My mom didn't want to sign me up again, but after a year of argueing, here I am in 7th grade and taking lessons, once again. My bf, Jake, gave me his old electric and I recently got it fixed and thats what I take lessons on. (See pictures) It's the red one. Durr.
