| A late starter to the playing scene, as sport and career generally took any free time needed to learn an instrument. Apparently I'm a natural, but I suppose my guitar teacher gets paid for saying that. I love live music, and found a new love in my guitar - the freedom, creativity and inspiration it brings. I have always appreciated thought provoking lyrics, therefore would favour a band that derives its name from an Oscar Wilde verse.."If the DOORS of perception were cleansed, everything would appear infinite"...rather than a song such as "Yummy, Yummy, Yummy, I've got love in my Tummy"...which coincidently was No.1 at the time Jim was exploring metaphysical phenomenon and challenging the theories of a multi-dimensional universe....

| Always loved music and have an extensive collection covering all genres. I am very useful at music trivia nights...I was a DJ and an Entertainment manager at a Rock'n'Roll venue for a few years...many moons ago ago. Only recently (April 2006) decided it was time to pick up a guitar as a kind of therapy..! - Now, I can't put the f***ing thing down..! Always loved to write, so a song is not too far away. |
